Star Trek: The Motion Picture, behind the scene footage.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture, behind the scene footage.
This footage is very rare.  I know because Robert Wise supposedly threw out the behind the scenes crew after a few weeks so it was limiting in scope.
There are a few things to note in the video
-Was there another deleted scene involving the Klingon ships?  There is footage of the models being destroyed practically in this video.  V’Ger merely reduced them to data patterns in the movie.
-There is footage of the famous Memory Wall deleted scenes in this clip too.
-The long lost footage of Persis Khambatta’s head shaving incident is here too! It is probably the most uncomfortable footage I’ve seen.  Because she starts to cry when he cuts her hair.  Man, she was a pretty woman and it is hard to watch her cry as her hair fell to the floor.  I heard Robert Wise stayed there by her side to comfort her.  I remember reading stories about this incident everywhere.

-There are a lot of aliens that didn’t make it to the screen.  This promo shows a few of them.  They even had names for the aliens.
Side Note
Here is footage of the Wormhole scene with different audio effects.  This had to be a scene from an early cut of the film.
