TNT will air the canceled Southland episodes

((The cable network has obtained the exclusive rights to run the six unaired episodes of "Southland" that were on NBC's fall schedule before the broadcaster unexpectedly axed the show two weeks before its premiere. The deal also includes the show's first-season run of seven episodes. ))

It looks like cable TV once again proves why they’re better than the big networks. This time with no interference from the Jay Leno show.

A dark show like this shouldn't even attempt to air on a network because of the limitations. If I were a producer, I’d shop it around FX, TNT, or HBO first anyway. And, to go to NBC, which is the new FOX, just doesn’t seem like the right choice.

And, we know that TNT knows drama (Wink-Wink)
