While checking out slashfilm, I came across this.

Yes, there was a lot of footage cut from the movie, and I mean a lot. Some things would have cleared up a lot of questions people had with the movie. I'd be down for another cut of the film with various scenes brought back in. There's even stuff that's not been seen outside the cutting room floor.

Extended scene with Clark learning he can fly: Not really needed, but interesting.

Clark Checking out his old house: Just a little touch back to the first film.

Ma Kent's subplot: She had scenes where she had a relationship with another man. I really think WB didn't want deal with “old people”. Here's more of that subplot.
