Justice League (why?)

Some casting has taken place for the new Justice League movie

Common as Green Lantern: Really, you couldn’t have gotten a black actor with a bit more experience under his belt. If they follow the animated Justice League series, John Stewart is sort of the General of the group. Can Common carry this off? I’ll wait and see…

Adam Brody as the Flash: Sorry you’ve made a big mistake here.

Scott Porter as Superman: No Brandon Routh?

Wouldn’t you want to merge the continuity of the Superman films with the Batman Begins universe without stepping on any franchises toes by having Bale and Routh reprising their roles? This movie could have bridged many of the fragmented DC movie franchises into a collective universe.

This movie just feels so wrong. It feels like they’re going for the Myspace crowd for this one. However, I’ll wait and see until more details come forward.

Are they going to cast Ice Cube as Hawkgirl?

I don't read comics but I just have to interject this.

Adam Brody as the Flash... WHAT THE F*testpattern* ????

That's terrible casting from a character actor perspective. Adam Brody is so not that guy. He is someone I would love to see in a Kevin Smith movie, yeah, but as a mainstream superhero? I don't think so.

Yeah, the look is all wrong. Plus, can he pull off the Flash character. It states that he's playing the Wally West version, meaning he has a a lot of wit.

Maybe he'll surprise us, but I doubt it.

I thought he was supposed to be playing the Flash that was a charter member of the Justice League.

It appears they're going with the third flash instead. I'm guessing their reconning the order of charter members. but you're right, Barry Allen was the first member of the Justice League

I think they're going with the cartoon timeline.

(then there is the messy stuff with the argument that Batman was or wasnt the founding member)
