Kelly Clarkson now is on my ‘Good’ list. Sure, she is one of the reasons the music industry is so bad now, that and techno music. While I’ve never been a fan of her or her work, I have new respect for her now. Here are the reasons why…
1 She has begun to distance herself from that crappy American Idol. I loved the when she refused to release her music to the show, which in turn got Simon pissed.
2 Just as From Justin to Kelly was released in the theaters; she distanced herself for that terrible movie.
3 She showed up to a rock concert drunk and the band brought her on stage. http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2765360 They goof on her a bit before she sings a song with them. Not a bad 10 min clip.

I actually think Kelly has come a long way and I'm starting to respect her as a performer and an artist.
Quite a decent voice - and while I did think she was a total ditzy Idol - she certainly has started making her mark.

While I feel she has changed her style, I just cant get past her Idol days, mainly because of my distain for reality shows, I should give her a chance, I guess.
