Comment: Yeah, so it looks a lot like Final Fantasy in the cut scenes, but the game is turning out look like a throwback to the old Sonic games on the Genesis. The game is really looking sweet.
The game is a prequel to Vice City, and deals with the brother of one of the 'heroes' of the original Vice City.

The hero of Vice City Stories is killed in the later game.
The vice city games have always been a homage to Miami Vice. This shot is no different.

Hopefully Vice City Stories will be good. I loved the original Vice City's atmosphere, so that's why I'm so excited about the PSP prequel.
I agree Vice City had a great atmosphere about it. I do like how most of the landmarks in the first GTA PSP game were all there, hopefully we'll see the same thing.
I like the cast so far, Ving Rhames is doing the voice of the main guy, while Philip Michael Thomas is returning as his character.
