The Movie Blog has a post about a preview about the new Rambo Score, which was written by Brian Tyler. As they stated, you can head over to Mr. Tyler's myspace and listen to the Rambo Suite on his media player. The main theme is certainly Jerry Goldsmith's music with a few Tyler themes thrown in for good measure. I'm so thrilled that they decided to keep the Late Jerry Goldsmith's Rambo theme. Will some of the other Goldsmith themes make appearances in this movie? I'm not sure.
Tyler has incorporated some of Goldsmith's themes with James Horner in Alien vs. Predator 2. And, he was the replacement composer for Goldsmith's rejected Timeline score.
You can also listen to some of his other scores at his website. Check out his amazing scores for Star Trek Enterprise, "Canamar" and "Regenerations". His Canamar score is Movie score worthy. There are hints of Goldsmith in his Star Trek music.
I've come to respect this guy as a composer of late.
