Bye, Danny

Looks like Adam Carolla got tired of Danny Bonaduce. I listen to his show on the podcast website and I always thought Bonaduce wasn't a good fit for the show. He would always talk over everyone else and try to one-up Adam's stories. He would relate everything to himself in some way.

Bonaduce was given a huge pay raise and an extension on his contract by CBS. Strangely enough, Adam called in sick during the early days of December, but showed up Dr. Drew’s radio show. It would appear that Adam had a small strike of his own. He wanted Danny off the show, and this was the only way to get the radio management’s attention. So, now the highly arrogant Danny now has his own one-hour show.

I believe there are two things at work here:

1. They can’t just release Danny, because they would pay him all that money for nothing.

2. This is a slick PR move to make it seem like he’s getting a promotion instead of a firing. Hey, just throw him an hour-long show to keep him happy.

Hey, I still give Danny points for flipping Jonny Fairplay on his face.
