This was a big year for movies and there were actually some major bombs too. Movies like Spiderman 3 and Transformers were critic proof. Some died fairly quickly in the Box Office, like overnight.

The biggest fallout was certainly Grindhouse. I mean this movie bombed big time. There’s going to be more creative fallout to come from this bomb. You can pretty much count on movie directors doing less experimental films like this.

I knew that Zodiac was going to bomb big time. Mainstream people aren’t interested in this type of drama, not without a clever twist like Se7en. The only problem I has was the 70-million price tag.

Lions for Lambs was a war/political story. I’m sorry, but people aren’t going to watch anything about the war at this point. I think people are sick and tired of hearing about it, because they know they can’t do anything about it, and aren’t going to pay money to see it in the theater. I don’t like this statement though, but it is the truth.

28 Weeks Later, yep, somehow this film got lumped in with the torture porn that soaked up the theaters and no one saw it, including me. I loved the first film, and I am looking forward to this movie as well.
