Hitman

Hitman

Based on the videogame series of the same name, the movie isn’t that good but it’s better than some VG movies. Hitman does follow the same cliché trend that every other ‘assassin that is doubled crossed’ storyline. Now, he becomes the hunted.

1. There’s an attractive woman that he must protect and falls in love with her.

2. He must take on his own former organization that double-crossed him.

3. He fights some of his own kind in the process.

Hitman does all the same things that every other movie like it. There are a few things I think that make this movie at least watch-able. The certainly isn’t its stronger element, but the CQC action scenes are pretty entertaining, if a little stupid.

The acting is pretty good, especially from Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47. I thought he was a badass. Even though he turns good, he ruthlessly kills Russian police officers and other assassins. I believed him as 47.

The woman lead is pretty good as the “Hooker with a heart of gold”. Olga Kurylenko is attractive enough in an emo sort of way. She certainly gets naked enough for me.

Like I stated before, the story is disjoined and at times doesn’t make sense. Yet, the movie is entertaining enough for a free rental or something else. After hearing about the behind the scenes battle between director Xavier Gens and Fox, it’s even a wonder it was even finished.

Not a good movie, but still okay.

Grade: C-

Lady in red.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't she the most recent Bond girl as well?

Yep, she is in that movie. Good looking out there, I didnt spot it.

Here's the kicker, she was in Max Payne (The movie) with a similar storyline and theme!
