Random thoughts

~I haven’t as depressed as I usually am, yet I am sleeping more these past few days. I basically sleep until my back starts hurting meaning that I’ve been sleeping too much.

~I’ve been working on this intense short story that I hope I can send it in soon to magazines. After sending it out, I’ll write another one. The new one will be about a a fallen Superhero and little boy that believes in him.

~I am going try to get into Journalism and see if I am interested.

~I listened to the Ron Moore Commentary on the Battlestar Galactica miniseries. Extremely good, don’t agree with everything in it though. His commentary isn’t as good his trek commentaries.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. Jaxa showed up in two episodes of TNG, actually they were two important episodes.   There was a nice arc to her character too.   Her character was killed off in Lower Decks , but there were plans to bring her back for an episode of DS9. From Memory Alpha , ((One story considered by the writing staff concerned the return of  Sito Jaxa  from  TNG : " Lower Decks ". The pitch had Sito being imprisoned under inhumane conditions and suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.  Robert Hewitt Wolfe  developed the story for some time. Madison Swan/Mia Malkova: Not so Mother's Day

I’ve written about some messed up things in my time as a blogger, but this story might just top the cake.  And, I mean really.  If you are offended by porn and the porn industry, don’t read this blog.  However, this might be one of the strangest and creepiest things I’ve seen and read about.  It just seems so wrong... A few days ago, I stumbled across an Amateur Allure (porn) video.   AA is a polished porn site that features a lot of POV shots and newcomers in the industry.   Also, there is MILF/step daughter (pretending) porn thing out there and it’s very popular.   Even AA has a few of these “fake” mother/step-daughter teams.   It is a very popular Genre in the industry.   However, this one is different.   AA had a video claiming that a fledging pornstar Madison Swan/Mia Malkova   did a Pre-Audition video with her mother tagging along…her real mother.  Mia/Madison shows up for her “audition”, which means you show ...

Starship Troopers III (Direct to Video/DVD)

Starship Troopers III? I didn’t even know anything about this movie. http://www.slashfilm.com/2008/01/09/first-look-starship-troopers-3/ I enjoy Paul Verhoeven’s work and his style. He loves mixing nudity and violence like no other. Total Recall and Basic Instinct were great movies, and they just show that he has a twisted freaky mind. When Starship Troopers came out in 97, I was more than a little disappointed with the material. However, I’ve come to enjoy it more on repeated viewing. I also liked the subtext of the Military based community that planet has in this version of the future. There was a good amount of social commentary buried in with the violence and sex. Plus, Casper Van Dien is reprising his role. I guess those late Showtime movies haven’t paid the bills. Man, this guy can’t act.
