Character Review
Name: Paine
Game: Final Fantasy X-2
This woman is one of the three people that are in the Sphere Hunter group Gullwings. She’s generally an outsider and seems to be in a bad mood all the time. Her default class is warrior. Unlike Yuna and Rikku, she wasn’t a member of summoner party in Final Fantasy X. Therefore, her relationship to the other girls is somewhat different. She will remind some people of the Character Lulu, but Paine isn’t that good at using dark magic.
She is a complete contrast to the happy-go-lucky girls of the group, usually making fun of Rikku’s lighthearted remarks. The best way to describe her is, Goth. In the battlefield, all her job stances are different from the other two girls. She usually stands with her back facing the enemy. The Character is one of the deeper people you’ll meet in this lighter toned game. This is especially true about her story arc later in the game, as we learn more about her troubled past.
Gwendoline Yeo does her voice work for the US version. She does a remarkable job conveying inter-sadness, with tough as nails exterior.

I'm glad someone finally recognizes the goodness that is Paine. I remember looking at an image gallery of Gwendoline Yeo a while back, and she's still as good-looking as ever.
Gwendoline is one hot number, she's been on at least 5 eps of 24 the TV show. I need to spot her when the DVD set comes out.
