I figured I would post these pictures of Nebulas. I’m writing the a chapter that takes place in a nebula at this very moment.
Nebulas are formed from novas and supernovas. The remains of the exploded star are comprised of this dust and gas. After a long period, stars and planets are formed from the charged dust. Since we have proof that our sun is still young, we can surmise that this was how our solar system created.
I find it interesting that dead stars give birth to new ones, clearing the way for more planets to form. Just like our planet’s ecosystem, it shows that the universe is in a cycle. And, remember if you want to get away from a crazy dictator named Khan, or cybernetic cubes named the Borg, hide in a Nebula.

The second one is the Horsehead Nebula, one of the desktop wallpapers I keep on my Webshots software. The most beautiful collection of gas in the universe.
And yes, nebulas are good for hiding from enemies, but you're just as vulnerable, and there aren't any communications!
And shields will be useless. lol
