"Here lies our careers once we finish this movie." My Little Eye
This movie has an interesting concept, but falters on pacing. The story is about a group of young people sent to a remote, creepy house where they must stay to win money. Think Big Brother, but shown on a web site instead. Everywhere they go, there are web cams, their every move being watched. A reality show on crack. Things go ape sh*t when people start dying.
This movie could have been better with a better skilled director at the helm. Some of the killing is okay, and some scenes are creepy. There is a twist at the end of the movie that I kind of like. It gets kind of bloody toward the end, which is a good thing. The ending wasn’t too hot. It left me saying, “WTF?”
The movie takes forever to get anywhere, but it doesn’t go anywhere. It gets caught up in it’s own style and mood that in end it doesn’t follow through on its premise
