On Tuesday, Marvel Comics announced that Marvel Entertainment has gotten the money to start producing it’s own films. They currently have a deal with Paramount Pictures to distribute the films. Avi Arad will be the CEO of the newly named Marvel Entertainment. This deal will give Marvel more clout in Hollywood. Look for big things to come out of this deal, and for it to be a direct threat to DC comics movies.
