This version has a more of a 70s feel to it.  This version has no horror elements and has a more of a space feel to it.  It sounds like MJ threw always the lyrics and just kept the notes and the music for the most part.  Make sure to go here for more information into why MJ and Quincy Jones changed the song to Thriller.

The second verse was released for the “This is it” version of the Thriller song.  I remember reading about the second verse, but only heard it on the “This is it”.
