It is a large area near the Kingdom San d'Oria. The area takes forever to get through and has large craters that you can fall into. Weather patterns move through this area, such as rain, wind storms and overcast cloud cover. Many low level players travel through this area to get to a lvling spot called the dunes. Be careful, Goblins are in the area and at night, undead roam.
Whenever it rains in the game in this area, a rainbow will come out and shine over the location. It’s always a joy to see it, and it shows the care the producers put into FFXI.
