Kentucky vs. Louisville

Every year, here in Kentucky there are two things that are more important than air itself, one being derby and the being UofL vs. UofK. You can’t go anywhere without hearing something about the stupid basketball game, and everyone is an expert on the subject. You start seeing UofL and UofK flags on cars, and t-shirts and signs.

Total strangers come up to me and say, “So, you going to watch the big game?”

I answer, “Nope, couldn’t care less.”

They always give me the mixed expression of betrayal and confusion. Like they don’t get it.

Which team do I favor? Neither one, hope they both lose.
