True Blood
Well, I watched the latest episode of the third season. Damn, this is a great season and last night’s episode was just crazy fun. Here are some points…
-Franklin is finally dead: The Vampire stalker finally met his bloody-popping end…to Jason Stackhouse. That was a great moment where the arrant Franklin thinks Jason was only using normal bullets. I just loved how Franklin just explodes. Great moment…
-Tommy Mickens: He’s kind of turning into a major dick. But, I like where this storyline is going with him.
-Sookie in the shower: Nuff said.
-Crystal storyline: Are they really going to bring Were-panthers into the show. Panthers are harder to control than even wolves. Or, are they going to make her whole clan werewolves?
-Lafayette: I’m really getting the feeling that they’re aiming for a witchcraft storyline in the coming weeks. I also think this will be the main storyline for season 4.
-The new girl Holly: I really don’t trust her. I get the feeling she’s connected to this brewing witchcraft thing.
-Russell Edgington: And best moment of the episode, Russell breaking into a live newscast and killing the news anchorman in mid-report. Russell rips his spine out of his body and proceeds to sit down talk to the American audience. This has to be one of the most chilling moments ever on the show.
But, there is more to it. Russell is basically making himself out to be a terrorist just to get back at the Vampire Authority. By showing a brutal murder on live TV, he’s making every human being fear vampires again. (He tells the world that vampires will eat your children!)
This is basically the vampires’ 9/11. Russell set back everything the Vampire Authority has tried to do in the past few years with Vampire/Human relations.
And, the joke at the end with the weather girl…brilliant.
