Silent Hill 3 Bathroom Stall Joke
This is the first time in the Silent Hill series where a character makes fun of another character from an earlier game. James, from the second game, actually digs through a stuffed toilet and finds something. Here, if you have a SH2 save data, the third game will reference the scene.
Heather will refuse to dig out whatever is in the toilet and look directly into the camera, at you, and chew you out and the character from the second game. I mean she looks directly at you as to refuse your command.
I always like when games Break the Fourth Wall. The Metal Gear Solid series does this a lot, and the Monkey Island game does that too.

If I remember correctly, the Ratchet and Clank games also do a lot of winking for the camera across the 4th wall (and The Simpsons game was one huge wink at the player, as it took shots at its own instances of video game cliches).

Didn't Jak and Daxter have some of that too?
I loved the Monkey Islands ones because at one point characters in the game will comment on what ever you have on your inventory while you were checking out it
Of course, considering this is Konami we are talking about, we know the love breaking the 4th wall (Psycho Mantis is the best example of that).
i loved the whole Psycho Mantis thing. I even heard they brought back that fourth wall joke for MGS4.
