Pirates of the Caribbean parts 2 & 3?

What the heck? I know they’re making Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest which is part 2, but... They’re making Pirates of the Caribbean 3! It looks like they’re filming the movies back to back. This could be the Matrix movies all over again, 1st one being great and the other two really sucking.
