To Zanarkand and back

The music to Final Fantasy X was truly amazing and heartfelt. It was a touching tribute to all the fine work of Nobuo Uematsu has done over the years. FFX has different vibe from many of his other scores. It is more New Age and While I understand why left the FF series, but I miss his music.

One of the best songs from the game soundtrack was 'To Zanarkand'.

Here is the way the song is presented in the game.

Here's a young lady playing it nicely on her piano. Her name is Maaikees and she has some skills. (Only one thing, I think she plays it a little too fast. It should have a more somber pace.)

Orchestra Version: This one is simply wonderful to listen to, check it out. It has a nice arrangement to it.

Bonus Clip, A guy in a Banana Suit playing it: I'm not making this up, he plays the piano with a Banana suit on. Yes, I'm easily amused. I guess his “sh*t really is bananas B-A-N-A-N-A-S”. Is it Peanut Butter Jelly Time FFX style?

i liked the banana's performance over the woman's. lol the orchestra was wonderfully done, good find.

I can see your point on Mr. Banana, I just thought the lady played it a little bit better, if a little too fast.

Yeah, I loved the orchestra one best, it was a different arrangement from the song at the end of the game.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. a U of L cheerleader gets into a little bit of trouble...

The Internet can be a dangerous place, and things that you did with that camera can come back to ruin your life. A very attractive University of Louisville cheerleader by the name of Becca Manns took some pictures of herself naked and also having sex with a dude. Either her memory stick or camera was stolen, and the theft uploaded the graphic photos onto the World Wide Web. That was when the shit hit the fan (Louisville Fan). She ended up having to leave the program and probably school. (I am currently enrolled in UofL as well, but you won't find any photos of me.) I sort of feel sorry for her because she did one crazy thing, and now it has ruined her life. However, I have to say this to her: You were given a chance to do something many people would never get a chance to do, go to an University. Bernie Mac is Dead A bit of upsetting news... ((CHICAGO (AP) — Bernie Mac, the actor and comedian who teamed up in the casino heist caper "Ocean's Eleven" and gained a prestigious Peabody Award for his sitcom "The Bernie Mac Show," died Saturday at age 50. )) I remember watching him on Def Comedy Jam , where he really broke out. If you get a chance, check out some of his earlier work on that show. I think he was able to really shine in some of the roles he took in his movie career. He seemed to always play the creepy guy that wore bad clothes and talk in strange patterns. Friday : He was great in this limited role. He played Pastor Clever, the horny Pastor.
