Chrono Trigger/Cross (the story) Part 6

Chrono Trigger

Chrono and the gang end up in the year 12,000 B.C. They discover the entire planet is covered in snow and ice. They encounter a portal inside a cave, and they step onto it, where they are transported to the beautiful Kingdom of Zeal high above the icy surface. Some of the people of Zeal are so prideful of their great nation that they look down on the primitive humans on the surface. Zeal has enough food to feed these poor tribes, but many see the primitive humans as lesser beings, because they cannot use magic. So, there is a class difference.

The Chrono gang make their way up to the castle of the Zeal Kingdom where Queen Zeal lives. They meet the beautiful Schala and her brother Janus. Chrono overhears a conversation between the two, where she mentions that their mother has been acting strange lately. If things turn bad, Schala promises that she will always watch over Janus. The sense around the city is that something big is happening behind the scenes.

Later, Chrono and the gang make there way to Queen Zeal’s throne room where they finally meet the Queen herself. To her right is mysterious stranger that is only known as The Prophet. The Prophet conceals his identity by wearing a hood and cloak. The Queen claims that The Prophet can tell the future, and he proves it by telling her that strange visitors from the future would enter her throne room.

The Prophet tells her not to listen to the strange visitors and to avoid them at all cost. Somehow, The Prophet knows Chrono. The Queen mentions the fact that no one can stop her from harnessing the power of Lavos. She orders the guards take away the Chrono gang.
