Batgirl’s Theme (From Batman: The Animated Series)

Other than the Joker theme, this is my second favorite theme that the late composer Shirley Walker created. I think the bright rolling theme fits the personality of Batgirl really well. The bright trumpet solos were the right instruments from the theme. This theme would stay with Batgirl up until the end of the original series’ run.

However, Walker and the other composers replaced the theme with a completely different theme for her in the revamped series. The newer theme wasn’t as good as the first one. Interestingly enough, Walker brought back the original theme in one of the later episodes.
