This guy is entertaining “Samples in Hip-Hop History”
I posted videos from this guy from before, but I figured I would give him another shout out. “funktuall” does amazing job showing the roots behind many of the classic hip-hop samples. Most young people have no idea where many of their favorite jams come from and this guy shows their roots.
This one is really clever. I love how he remixes the beats with the original songs. Lee Dorsey was the man.
It makes me want to try to do some remixes.
