I was never a Nintendo fanboy, and I will never be one. Yet, I have to give credit to the company Rare for making the controversial platform game called Conker’s Bad Fur Day. What is interesting about this game is that the final version of the game is full of dirty humor, cussing, violence and movie parodies. These were things Nintendo was never comfortable with, and Nintendo only wanted pure and cute games on their systems. Rare didn’t want that and made Conker a parody of all that Nintendo cuteness.
(A bee having sex with female sunflower with big boobs)
Here’s the kicker though, Conker’s Bad Fur Day wasn’t supposed to be this mean little dirty game. Originally, Rare started making the game Conker’s Quest, and CQ was supposed to be the typical ‘Cute’ platform. And I remember magazines showing images of Conker’s Quest in the early stages too.
Before the drastic overhaul, they renamed the game Twelve Tales.
What’s even funnier is that Nintendo seemed to support this game back when it was still a cute platform, but seemed to withdraw from supporting it when it became a mature title.
Btw, don't bother buying the Xbox version of this game. It is more censored than the actual Nintendo game.
Notes
This is what happens when you die the first time you die.
An extremely dirty ad for the game.
