Batman Year One:
Animated movie
Well, Frank
Miller has done some amazing stories early in his career and some
aspects of “Year One” are very cool. However, having Catwoman be
a hooker is a bit too extreme. I've never seen Catwoman as that type
of character. And, that goes back to Miller having major issues with
women in his stories. They're always over-sexual and evil. Heck,
his original Robocop II story proves that point.
Anyway, before
it turns into a Miller rant...
Yet, there is
some cool stuff from “Year One”, and they used some of those
moments in Batman Begins. It is good to see Bruce Timm takes a stab
at making an animated version of the story.
