Keeping 'The Spirit' up

So, how bad is Frank Miller's The Spirit?

John over at the Movie Blog said someone made the comparison to Battlefield Earth.

That's not good, but if they said “A mixture between Battlefield Earth and The Phantom,” then we'd be in even more trouble.

The good news is that Frank Miller, smartly so, removed the down right racist character of Ebony White from the movie. It should be noted that Will Eisner would later change the character from it's Minstrel Show type.

I'm still going to hold hope this will be an okay movie though.

a U of L cheerleader gets into a little bit of trouble...

The Internet can be a dangerous place, and things that you did with that camera can come back to ruin your life. A very attractive University of Louisville cheerleader by the name of Becca Manns took some pictures of herself naked and also having sex with a dude. Either her memory stick or camera was stolen, and the theft uploaded the graphic photos onto the World Wide Web. That was when the shit hit the fan (Louisville Fan). She ended up having to leave the program and probably school. (I am currently enrolled in UofL as well, but you won't find any photos of me.) I sort of feel sorry for her because she did one crazy thing, and now it has ruined her life. Daisy Summers/Daisy Haze is a Star Wars fan

Uh, You know you're a geek...when you notice a pornstar's tattoo is a Star Wars  tattoo.  Yep, instead of noticing the extremely cute pornstar Daisy Haze, I noticed she has a Star Wars tattoo. It is the rebel alliance symbol. Forget about she's an attractive lady, she's a Star Wars fan. She's so much of a fan that she took the time to paint it permanently on her body.
