Yes, this is the After School Special Speech from Natasha Yar about saying no to Drugs

Wesley receives his first “Say no to drugs” speech. The speech is so out of character for Yar, that you realize why Denise Crosby left the series. This feels like something Different Strokes would pull off. Sure, the old show would do this a lot, but not in the Regan 80s manner that this clip attempts. This is some poor writing.

There is no reason for this cheap anti-drug speech, given the entire episode is about the hazards of drug use.

Personally, I would have paid to see a high Wesley Crusher roaming the corridors.

Btw, this was technically Crosby’s last episode as a regular, but it was filmed after her death episode in Skin of Evil. She can be seen waving goodbye to the fans in this episode.
