That NBA
Fight...
Reddit posted
this little gem again. I remember watching abridge version, and
was shocked it got out of hand the way it did. We geeks and nerds get
a lot of flack for our extreme fanboy-isms, but no really talks about
sports fans and need to be a part of the game. Cosplay at football
game, don't get made fun of. Cosplay at a convention, get made fun
of.
Anyway, I usually
don't watch the NBA unless it is some kind of overblown fight like
this one. The fight was so famous
that it received a wiki entry. This one is crazy.
-Yeah, John
Green, not the internet guy, threw a diet coke at Ron Artest. I can
see him getting mad at the guy, but damn he should have never gone
into the stands.
-Ron Artest is
called Metta
World Peace: I wish I could make this up. He lost 5 million
bucks because of this fight...ouch. Make sure to read his entire
wiki page for some amusing little bits...like him applying for a
Circuit City job.
-Good product
placement for Diet Coke.
-John Green: The
drink thrower has a long and horrible criminal past. It is no wonder
he acted like a ass in this event. This guy has a lifetime ban
from the location.
-Malice at the
Palace: Really, this is what you're going to call it? Are we in the
60s?
-Why would you
throw stadium food and drinks? That stuff cost a lot of money.
