What happened when John Williams finished the score to Star Wars

What happened when John Williams finished the score to Star Wars
This is a pretty funny bit from the Olde Money Boyz. They certainly picked the right track to use. I like the slight dis against Zimmer.
(The Imperial March) It was first introduced in Empire Strikes Back. Some people don't realize the theme was never in Episode IV. JW used a different Imperial Theme in that movie. He came up with a stronger theme with Episode V.
Some of the best uses of the march comes from Return of the Jedi.
Check it the theme in the opening of Return of the Jedi.

simply one of the best and most recognizable musical scores out there. I was tempted to use it for my wedding processional but didn't want people thinking I was a Sith!

We used the score for the ceremonial scene in the last part of Episode IV for our recessional, and it was fun to look at the crowd and pick out the nerds by their facial expressions showing they recoginized it.

It would have been cool to use it during a wedding. Williams score for ESB is simply amazing from a playing and writing stand point. But the Ceremonial is better suited though. I am one of those guys that knows every note and hums it even today.

It is a shame Williams doesn't write his scores like this anymore.
