Random Thoughts

The following takes place between 5 am and 12 pm on Jan 8th.

~Well, I knew there was going to be attention given to the Cheerleader issue, but I never expected this much attention. Once someone submitted this to Digg.com, I’ve been getting a lot of hits; I mean I got around 560 hits a few days ago. All of them directed toward that post. I did take some things out of it, because I might have gone too far with it. I guess every blog has its 15 minutes of fame, and this is it for me. Deep down though, I hope I can get back to 20-25 hits again.

~I rented the first two DVDs of 24 season 6, and I have to say the season is pretty good.

~First day of school went fine.

~I also got the Batman Box set. I love the making of films in the DVDs.

~Today, I took my first ride on Louisville Public transportation, in other words a bus.

~I found this link rather funny, check it out. This is what happens when someone steals your gear.

~I’ll try to finish up the Superman II review tomorrow.

[grumble] lucky, all i got is the beyond/of the future 3 seasons and the Bats vs dracula movie(which is more violent since it's a movie, better somehow cos the joker is the baddie i always wanted him to be.)

I loved the Batman Beyond seasons, I just have the Return of the Joker movie, and two sets of the Batman TAS.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. Jaxa showed up in two episodes of TNG, actually they were two important episodes.   There was a nice arc to her character too.   Her character was killed off in Lower Decks , but there were plans to bring her back for an episode of DS9. From Memory Alpha , ((One story considered by the writing staff concerned the return of  Sito Jaxa  from  TNG : " Lower Decks ". Madison Swan/Mia Malkova: Not so Mother's Day

I’ve written about some messed up things in my time as a blogger, but this story might just top the cake.  And, I mean really.  If you are offended by porn and the porn industry, don’t read this blog.  However, this might be one of the strangest and creepiest things I’ve seen and read about.  It just seems so wrong... Bernie Mac is Dead A bit of upsetting news... ((CHICAGO (AP) — Bernie Mac, the actor and comedian who teamed up in the casino heist caper "Ocean's Eleven" and gained a prestigious Peabody Award for his sitcom "The Bernie Mac Show," died Saturday at age 50. )) I remember watching him on Def Comedy Jam , where he really broke out. If you get a chance, check out some of his earlier work on that show. I think he was able to really shine in some of the roles he took in his movie career. He seemed to always play the creepy guy that wore bad clothes and talk in strange patterns. Friday : He was great in this limited role. He played Pastor Clever, the horny Pastor.
