I Married Dora Strange Ending (And the Moonlighting Ending)

I Married Dora Strange Ending
And, that was how that showed ended its first season run.
Doing some research into Mark Waid, a comedian I know from e-mails had Waid on his podcast. In the podcast, Ken mentions the ending to a show called I Married Dora. When the show writers knew they were getting canceled, they literally threw in an abrupt ending where they break the fourth wall. The only thing worth mentioning about the show is that a very young Juliette Lewis played the teenage daughter. Was this pre-Xenu or post Xenu Lewis or was she born into this stupid cult?
From Wiki ((The show had low ratings and was canceled halfway into its only season. The final episode ended with a scene, known as "breaking the fourth wall," that ranked number 49 on TVLand's list of The 100 Most Unexpected TV Moments. Peter received a two-year job offer in Bahrain and the final scene featured him boarding a plane headed overseas, leaving Dora and his children behind despite their pleas. A few moments later, Peter reappeared: ))
They actually did something similar for the show Moonlighting. The characters of that show try to stop the show from being canceled and eventually fail. They give up and end the show. If you can get your hands on the Moonlighting ending episode, it is a very good find.
Moonlighting Ending: The ending of the series happens ten minutes before the show ends and it completely drops all the storylines and breaks the fourth wall. Check it out
