Heroes: canceled

Heroes goes away?

From Stuff.co.nz, ((The axe has fallen on Heroes, the much-loved TV show that was a hit in its first season but suffered declining viewer numbers in more recent years. ))

NBC finally does something right they canceled “Heroes”. I remembered when Heroes first started and people were claiming it would be better than Lost. Many fans started dissing Lost claiming Heroes as their savior. After the masterful first season, the show kind of hit a wall creatively. Something was missing. I watched all the DVDs of the first season back to back, but I had no desire to finish season 2.

I felt the complete opposite with 24. It seemed that show got better in the second season.

I just gave up on Heroes and didn't get to see the supposedly really disastrous third season. I think they've done the right thing and put an expensive series out of its misery. However, it is interesting that a series goes from being the golden child to the redheaded stepchild in just a few years.

Save the Cheerleader, save the series?

Notes

-Tim Kring : Maybe he can do an Teen Wolf live series next, because he worked on Teen Wolf Too.

-The 4th season went to 5 million viewers from starting out with 13 million. That's not good at all.

-Hayden Panettiere : She is free to show up in more Bring it On sequels now. And, she can start doing even more Neutrogena ads.

Why so glum? Oh, yeah you just got canceled. Sorry...
