Beowulf (Main Title versions)
I really enjoyed the movie Beowulf that came out a few years ago, but what really stood out was the music by Alan Silvestri. The score was epic and made the movie better. I remember getting the album and noticing that track one (Main Titles) was a little different than the one used in the movie.
Album Version
Film Version
The Film version uses a heavier guitar riff and there is a strong Heart Beat rhythm at the beginning that’s not in the album version. I believe the men chanting is the same, but the guitar stuff is completely different.
I’m not sure why they didn’t just use the film version on the soundtrack, but it is better than the one on the album.
