I wanted to return to the beautiful world of Chandler Halderson. As I stated before, someone suggested this case and I am loving the story of this man-child.
Remember, Chandler was the loser dude that killed his parents, chopped them up, and attempted to burn them. After watching the brilliant opening statement from the prosecution, I wanted to know if the defense could even hold a candle to that statement. Well, nope. The prosecuting lawyer made a compelling one hour. Guess how many minutes the defense used? 13 minutes. Yep, that’s all, and that is sad.
You can tell the defense is grasping at straws. Why would Chandler even take this to trial and not ask for a plea deal?
