Ladies and gentlemen, we might have one of the craziest women to date. While this story seems like a Florida-based event, it happened in Michigan. A fair maiden sued a fine gentleman for standing her up on a date.
From USA Today, (((QaShontae H. Short filed a lawsuit Sept. 10, 2020, against her date who didn't show. . According to the claim filed in Michigan's 67th District Court of Genesee County, the experience caused her emotional distress because the date fell on her late mother's birthday.))
This has got to be one of the dumbest lul-suits I have ever seen. Does this mean I can sue every woman that friend-zoned me in high school and college? A dude stood you up, get over it. The best part of the story is she filed the lawsuit in the wrong court and the judge was trying to explain it to her. That was when she got snappy at the judge and he muted her. She kept talking! Her meltdown is brilliant.
Why would you sue someone for 10K over a non-date?
