Time Bandits: Punching the Poor


  

I recently watched Time Bandits on HBO and it still holds up.  One of the best jokes in the movie is the punching of the poor folks.   I just love how Robin Hood pretty much steals the treasure from the bandits right in front of them.  The lead bandit reacts wonderfully with a delayed response.   


Then, the best part is that goon punches everyone that gets a piece of treasure.  Right in the face.  Take a look at the goon before he punches each one.  Plus, we also have the rule of three here to because we only see three people getting punched.  I just love how mean-spirited the scene is.   


Note:  The Time Bandits don’t even pretend to laugh during the ending of the scene because they realized they’re stolen treasure just got stolen again.   

Note II: John Cleese is brilliant as an asshole Robin Hood.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. Shrek the Third

Shrek the Third It’s not really that funny. Shrek 3 isn’t very funny or entertaining. It’s not even a bad movie, it’s just boring. While the other two movies tried to give us some adult humor, with Dreamworks ripping Disney a new one in both movies, Shrek 3 simply doesn’t bother to be funny. I probably laughed three times during the entire time. The allure and humor of the first two films are gone in Shrek 3. So, who is to blame for this movie? It’s the screenwriters. The script is the reason this movie doesn’t work. The story is like that cheap soda you buy from a knock-off brand: it taste bland and doesn’t have that kick that the real sodas have. The jokes feel incomplete and dry. As I watched the movie, I came up with better jokes and storyline progressions than the actual movie. Madison Swan/Mia Malkova: Not so Mother's Day

I’ve written about some messed up things in my time as a blogger, but this story might just top the cake.  And, I mean really.  If you are offended by porn and the porn industry, don’t read this blog.  However, this might be one of the strangest and creepiest things I’ve seen and read about.  It just seems so wrong...
