Twittergate? Hmm, probably not. We must Trust and Safety

If you have read my blog for a long time, you know that I am not a fan of Twitter.  I think micro-blogging is a waste of time and just creates drama for us all.  I’ve never seen social media destroy more lives due to people obsessing over their own character-limited opinions.  I’ve literally seen content creators stop working on stuff in order to gripe about Trump or ague with someone they don’t agree with.  As they’re lives crumble, they still want to get that hot-take tweet.   

Anyway, it looks like there is a bit of controversy going on Twitter over some bullshit involving Twitter’s trust and safety board.  When I hear Trust & Safety, I hear gatekeeping.  Well, it appears that some Twitter accounts of larger tweeters are getting suspended.  It looks like someone is leaning their ear to the president of Trust and Safety.  The person that is behind these suspensions seems to be connected to T&S’s president Del Harvey.   

When I heard the name Del Harvey, it sounded familiar.  That is because Del Harvey was a member of the defunct Perverted Justice group that was connected to Chris Hasen and To Catch a Predator.  In the early stings, Del was one the decoys and she could play a boy or girl.  During that time, Del was doing good work, but it seems she’s missed the mark with being the queen of Trust and Safety.   

Instead of policing “wrong think”, how about fixing your busted copyright system?  Let’s work on getting actual predators off of Twitter.  And, why hasn’t convicted child molester Peter Bright’s Twitter hasn’t been removed yet?  And, don’t get me started with groups of predators on Twitter and their change of TOS on that matter.   

Anyway, anyone that this Twitter troll mentions or complains about gets a ban on Twitter.  It seems he hashtags Del in his statements.  What is going on here?   How can one random Twitter guy have so much power?  BTW, the @spaziotwat account is gone.  It was Thanos'ed.
