There comes a point when you need to STFU and you still fail.   It is almost like a sickness for these blue checkmark types.  Despite Twitter not being their income, they still continue to tweet out shit.  After the whole world unites and attacks you, it is time to put down Twitter and take a break.  Go outside and do something else.

Toni Basil's Alt Music Video: Mickey (Hey Mickey)

I had no idea there was another version of the Hey Micky music video.  From what I can gather, the BBC made their own version and we got only the Cheerleader one.  This version shows of Basil’s dancing skills.  She was a choreographer before being a singer and damn, she can do the splits.   

BTW, I remember this song being very popular with kids, like me, not realizing the song is extremely dirty.  And, Basil was nearly 40 when you made both MVs.   

And here’s the extended song that is usually only played in clubs and very rarely played on the radio.

This is an expression of a person that has to deal with entitled douche bags and frustraited Karens.  

It is 2020 so let the entitled combat begin.  I love when someone tries to shame and call the cops on someone that was only Have created such an online culture where people don’t realize that they’re doing life all wrong.  In real life, there are no blue checkmarks or block-bots.  David Leavitt, Magic fan/writer/tweeter, wanted to buy a toothbrush.  However, he wanted to buy a display model of a toothbrush for one cent.  The one-cent tag was a placeholder and clearly has a display tag listed on it.    He made a hissy-Twitter-fit and tried doxing and getting the Target manager Tori fired.  Heck, he even threatened to sue Target of a toothbrush.  Oh, did I mention he called the cops on the company of Target?  

All of this crap over a toothbrush. And, why are you pulling a double Karen?  He went to the manger and then called the cops on the manger.  Being the prick that he is, the Internet quickly turned on him and it all fell down.  

Entitled douche bag calls cops. It was a cliché back in 2019. Now, it is just funny.

Maybe he is trolling.  Or he is just an entitled cheapy. I am certain he haggles a stripper on lap dances.

Side Note:  I am sure Tori didn't know she would become a meme when she went to bed that night.  

 You actually tried to get her fired via Twitter.  Wow, just wow.  Not for racism or homophobia, but a toothbrush.

The mighty Quinn: Your past self

Would your past-idealistic self be proud of the person you became?  I ask this because I was recently watching an old clip of Zoe Quinn from GDC 2014. (Zoe appears at the 48 min mark.) While I can’t sit through all of the nonsense from the other speakers, Zoe’s speech is very interesting.   She looks like a normal pale girl of the era and she stumbles her words.  She is shy and bit more humble and not the “leader of the Woke Resistance” that she ended up becoming during GG.   She is just a woman talking about changing the world for the better without all the woke-SJW crap.  Is this a pure Zoe Quinn?  

Would this pre-GG Zoe be proud of the fact she walked away from a major website that would have helped bullied people online?  Would she be embarrassed that she took 85K in a dream FMV game and never completed the game for her fans or supporters?  Would she speak out about people jumping to conclusions on allegations against someone before the facts came to surface (Alec Holowka)?  Would she be upset that she left a close-knit indie community in shambles?  She basically did more damage to the indie community than GG could even imagine.   After leaving an unfinished 85K game and indie scene in flames, she jumped ship to the comic book community.  

I don’t know.  Given the passage of time, it is interesting to watch people become the thing they hate or fear.   

Perhaps pushing 70-year-old down some stairs isn’t a good idea

The young guy shoved the old guy to the ground so hard that the old dude is literally stuck in place.  You can hear the snap and breath get pushed out of him as he hits the sidewalk.  The young guy broke him like a toy without its batteries.  It is very creepy and I have never seen anything like it.  The worse part is that the young guy and friend walk pass the body and almost leave him be.  You can also see the young realize he f'ed this old dude up.  

I discovered this sad story over on Reddit.  One man ruined his life and another one lost his life over 200 dollars in rent money.  Yep, that’s all.  The old dude caught it all, including his death, on his own doorbell camera.  The cops arrested the young dude for manslaughter.  None of this was necessary.   

Side note: Old dude has three daughters and a bunch of grandchildren.

John Boyega-ardee

John Boyega doesn’t give a shit... 

I’ve disagreed with John in the past, but I can understand him on this issue.  For me, I would not get into a fight with losers from Reylo fans camp.  They’re a shipper group.  Doing this Instagram video is a brilliant way to get back asshats on the Internet. Now, the Reylo fans are attacking John calling his sexist, but also going after Gwendoline Christie for liking his post.  I am certain Gwen is more than a little mad with the way they handled her character in the Star Wars franchise.  If you’re going to have a skilled actress like her, why not use her?   

John and Gwen deserved better.   I think SW left a bad taste in his mouth and he's glad to move on.  Just don't attack Dinsey too much because they own everything.  

After the direction Finn took in TLJ, I think John had enough.  My only advice for John is to take your win against the trolls and move on.  Shippers tend to let things linger on.   

BTW, Grammarly doesn't have Reylo as a misspelled word.  I love that.  

Thundercats Roar

Thundercats Roar

Damn it, this is bad. I watched the “two episodes” of the new Thundercats Roar show. It is cringe-worthy.  Getting through the two episodes was torture.  

I am not a huge fan of the original version, but I enjoyed it for what it was. I was more of a He-Man fan. This “remake” is a turd...a smoking turd. Look, I know the show isn't meant for me, but kids today deserve something better than these balloon style designs with heroes acting like shitheads. At least the Titiants own it and make fun of the fact they are shitheads.  What happened to good storytelling?  Bring something fresh to the Thundercats lore instead of a parody.  

I could not care anymore about this “shitting on” the old show. The big problem is this should have been a more grown-up cartoon with some humor sprinkled in here and there. Many of the Transformer's remake shows did it well. And, the designs, it shouldn't look like Chris Chan drew and designed these characters. It is just lazy to go for the Teen Titans Go style, but even worse.  With this childish design, the characters change shape and model from second to second.

Was this remake created for the ADD crowd? Everything is so jumpy and frantic without letting the artwork speak for itself.  Can you sit down and tell a bloody story? I can't believe this is what passes for children's TV. The good news is for every one of these shows, there are  Star Wars Rebels type shows being made. People still have the old series and just skip this mess.  Will this show get better?  I hope so.

BTW, for all it's pandering, the new She-Ra is a better series than this shit.

If you're aiming it at 5-year-olds, it doesn't mean it should look like it is MADE by 5-year-olds. 

Kent the man

Kent the man

Kent is a god among men. I've been following this guy for years. I honestly feel for him. Partly because I was exactly like Kent growing up. I was an outsider/loner and didn't get social interaction. I had learning and speaking issues growing up like Kent. Because of these issues, the female peers ignored me and some even called me ugly. Where Kent and I divide is he always expected girls to talk to him. And, he sort of loomed over them. This seems to be a problem with the younger generation. They believe they're owed some pussy. It doesn't work that way. Kent had a long and hard lesson to learn in that fact.

With the video above, I hope he follows his New Years' resolution and just stay away from women. Unless he learns how to talk and respect them, he needs to take a break from them. Look, Kent, I had to learn that dating wasn't for me 20 years ago and haven't been on a date since. I do it by choice. Yes, focus on making yourself better and not worry about dating. Stay strong, Kent.

All serious aside, I still get a kick out of his older videoes when he randomly yelled at the screen.
