I was going through YT and this video came up.  I know that plenty of comedians won’t do gigs at universities anymore.  Have young people gotten so sensitive that jokes are now more harmful than a punch in the face?

I find funny is that the joke he made was very much a pro-left-leaning joke.  Young people, it is okay to discuss what is offensive and what is not, but to silence another minority person for making a joke you didn’t agree with is going too far.

I love the lulz. She either rented the car or a friend gave the car as a loan. Yeah, it would have really messed up your Tesla. I know that putting diesel into your unleaded car will cause a smoke storm, but your car will run...barely. I also know putting that flex fuel in your non-flex fuel car will cause major problems too.   

If it would have worked, maybe something magical would have happened.  Perhaps a unicorn would have been born from the mixture.

Yeah, I used to defend and support Mr. Matt Mundane.  However, he keeps screwing up.  He went on a mass flagging thing months ago with anyone that said anything negative about him.  Given the manner Zoe Quinn behaved, you would think he would have learned.  Despite trying to make YouTube a full-time job, his subs keep dropping.   

Now, he wants YT to get rid of the dislike button.  And, he doesn’t really have a good enough reason for it other than it “hurts his fee-fees".  Damn, Matt, just stop acting like a jackass.  He is becoming a cross between Zoe and DSP.

At this point, this Soulja Boy console bullshit is just a living meme.  I’ve messed with roms.  It isn’t easy to run these games on a damn PC, so running it on a fake knockoff console seems strange to me.  And, I love the fact Soulja is selling the console for a markup price and then slashing them to a slightly lower price.   

Despite the threat of Nintendo suing him, he has double down on selling more consoles.

TCAP: Let go of the keys guy

I’ve been watching these uncut TCAP interviews and this guy came up.  I watching his police interview and something caught my attention.  In the last part, he made this strange dismissive rote statement about physiology/physiologists and “not submitting to them”.  Then, I remembered he lived in Clearwater FL and drove to the decoy house.  I realized this guy was/is a Scientologist.  The anger has about physiology really shows on this dude’s face.  I think the detective picked up on it and was trying to set Kelly off his game.   

It started to make sense that with his “I’m better than you” attitude after he got arrested and that he was a bit of a scummy guy that tried to run away.  Yeah, and that he had his kids at a young age also seems to vibe with the Space Church.  It looks like his family was/is involved with the church.  Then, you will notice he is extremely vague with religion.   

So, what happened to this piece crap?  He is still listed as an RSO and he looks really harsh as if life beat him down.  It should also be noted that he attempted to get with a 13-year-old girl and got caught despite the fact he was married and has children.  BTW, he also spent two years in prison.  I guess Scientology didn't help him out.  

While I hate all the guys from the TCAP shows, this guys seems to be one I hate the most.

A few more things... 

-Modern Storytelling:  For the most part, the show carries over to the next with story threads.  While having independent stories, characters recall things and change over time. It is nice to see the story cover over the span of the season. However, it feels like the show isn't always interested in some of the larger storytelling lore with She-Ra.

-Some of the humor works:  Okay, some of the jokes do work.  And, I laughed or smiled. Sea Hawk is rather funny because he is clearly a Han Solo parody.

-Hordak?: He is the main bad guy just like in the old series but he isn't in the series as much as his 80s counterpart. I understand the Emperor vibe via Star Wars, but I felt they should have had him show up in person in the final few episodes and showed why he is in command of a giant army. The show really isn't that interested in that idea.

-Action scenes:  When they feel the need to animate it, the action scenes are pretty good.  They remind me of Teen Titans.   

-Character moments:  Again, the show shines with the fact characters are entertaining and have flaws.

-Comedy doesn’t always work:  There are times when the comedy does work and there are times when it was too goofy or out of place.  Bow is unusually the one is too goofy for his own good.  Sometimes the humor overshadows the overall story.  I honestly believe the show could have been truly compelling if the writers went into the lore of She-Ra instead of making a bunch stupid horse jokes.   

This version of She-Ra isn’t the headstrong blazing hero of the old show, but there are some things to like about the series.  There needed to be more of a balance between the “inclusive message” and telling a good if not great story.  I felt there was a battle going on behind the scenes in the writing room.  There were people clearly wanting to tell a larger story with the friendships between these groups of women and the universe of She-Ra.  With the Catra and Adora relationship, I think they have something interesting here to explore with some more mature themes.  And, there are some people wanting to merely push an agenda.  Tell the good story first and make it fun and then you can include the other stuff.   

With some fair to middling writing and animation, She-Ra didn’t turn out as bad I thought it would.  It left me wanting more of the mature dynamics and the more about the lore of the show.  Here’s hoping the second season improves on its storytelling and character development and not worry about the inclusive story as much.

 I hate this stupid horse and his stupid horse.  I really, really hate this character.  He sounds like a d-bag that hangs out in a coffee shop and spouts out "woke" stuff.   Damn, it is not funny.

Over the last few months, I've noticed some strange referral links in my blogger dashboard. Some of them make no sense and clicking on them has some strange things come up. The most recent one ended up being a “dating” site except it ends up being a thinly veiled porn/escort site. Searching on Google, it seems to be some sort of Russian Chinese porn site of some sort.

The other fake referral site is some kind of penis pill site. It has a “sexy” doctor with a list of creams and pills that “make us go” pills. I'll give the link, but don't buy anything from there. I'm guessing it is some sort of front for the Russian mob or something. If you want me to take your company seriously, don't put up a picture of a sexy doctor, suggestively leering at me, who resembles Lisa Ann.

Side Note:  I did a "Lisa Ann Doctor Outfit" and this actually came up.  Damn.  You can find anything... 

How do these fake referrals work?  Russian bots?    

Hey, Russian bots/mob, I may be single, but I am not that horny.  So, I don't need a date with one of your escorts or to try your pills.

Talk about being out of touch.  Granted the wife was throwing things at him, but that doesn’t give him the right to beat the living shit out of her.  And, it makes it worse that he did this horrible thing in front of his children.  This is such a damaging mark for kids believe me.  It is difficult to watch.   

Let me put this bluntly, Mr. Dead Moth, you are a piece of shit and should be put in prison for your action. This is coming from an abuse survivor.  After he slaps his wife, he tries to get back to his game.  this sums up the problems with young people today.   

Like I wrote before, they arrested him and he has made a statement.  He claims his wife will reveal what happened and will clear his name.  I believe he will go free and his wife will lie for him.  Thus, restarting the cycle over and over again.  If you are in an abusive relationship, you can't stay in something this toxic.  It will cause major damage to your children and put you in great harm.  Coming from an abuse survivor myself, step away from this asshole.  

YouTube Rewind 2018: Sigh.

YouTube, who are these people and why should I care?  I felt some of the earlier Rewind videos were pretty amusing and on point.  The whole thing seemed a bit rote to me.  And, the FN dances were cringe-worthy too.  There was care in the early YT Rewind videos whereas the last three have gone out of their way to be “woke” and safe.   

K-Pop?  Really?  And, what about the drag thing?  What was the point of that?  Then the Ninja thing just baffled me to say to least.  Let’s stop talking down to people and make it a fun video that celebrates YT despite all the setbacks.   

And, what is with all the blue hair?  Really?   

Yeah, where are the mention of the huge boxing matches or the Shane Dawson things?  How about a reference to Cobra Kai?  

Maybe I am getting too old to recognize these new tubers.
