The Rohan Theme in Return of the King




One of my favorite themes from the Lord of the Rings score has to be the theme for Rohan. I actually like it better than Gondor’s theme. The Rohan theme has more heroic sound than Gondor’s majestic theme.

This track is used during the charge by the Rohan Army. 

Don’t get me wrong, Gondor’s “lighting the beacon” cue has one of the best versions of the Gondor theme.
