The Submarine Theme from Medal of Honor in Lost Whenever there is a mention or scene with the Submarine in the later seasons of Lost, Michael Giacchino would bring back his U-Boat theme he made famous in the Medal of Honor series. I remember hearing the theme the first time in the episode where Locke blows up the sub. Here are a few other Lost themes I'd like share

Simon Sez (remember this one?) Oh, man. Back in the day, some of my co-workers and I would talk about this movie. We would bring up an early version of Dane Cook before he became the horny-guy comedian with sold out shows. The movie came out after the movie Double Team with Jean-Claude Van Damme . He basically plays the same damn character in this movie, but with a different name. I have no idea why they didn't just make him the same character, because they even brought back the cyber monks from Double Team. Simon Sez came out right around the height of Dennis (The Worm) Rodman's popularity. Rodman dated Maddonna and had a TV show on MTV. He showed up in a few movies and TV shows too. At this point, I was sick of Rodman and throwing an unfunny Dane Cook in there didn't help matters. If I am not mistaken, the original title for Die Hard III was “Simon Says”, which was from an unrelated script to the Die Hard universe. And, you know it is “extreme” whe...

How to be a Gentleman Wow, that certainly looked bad. It looked like a cross between 2 and Half Men and every other sitcom from UPN from the 90s. Look the concept of men being men is something close to my heart, like the stupid “murses”, but this concept shoved into here just looks bad. So, Kevin Dillon is basically playing another Johnny Drama type. Actually, this is the type of role Drama would play in the show within the show on Entourage. So, Mary Lynn Rajskub is in it too. Truth be told, I am not that shocked she's on the show, because she's a comedic person first, but was known for her somewhat serious role on 24. Naturally , the rev iews are bad. As I said before, this show feels like a UPN and WB show. However, I'll give it chance with one episode.   

Batman Year One: Animated movie Well, Frank Miller has done some amazing stories early in his career and some aspects of “Year One” are very cool. However, having Catwoman be a hooker is a bit too extreme. I've never seen Catwoman as that type of character. And, that goes back to Miller having major issues with women in his stories. They're always over-sexual and evil. Heck, his original Robocop II story proves that point. Anyway, before it turns into a Miller rant...  Yet, there is some cool stuff from “Year One”, and they used some of those moments in Batman Begins. It is good to see Bruce Timm takes a stab at making an animated version of the story.

What happened to Chris Trucker? I really do mean that. I know that somewhere between Friday and Rush Hour 2, he stopped smoking weed and took up religion. Taking away appearances in The Meteor Man and House Party 3, he had some pretty good roles in Friday, Dead Presidents, Money Talks, and Jackie Brown. His role in the first Rush Hour was pretty good too. He blew up with RH and Money Talks. It was around Rush Hour 2 when he pretty much disappeared from the movie scene. From 2001 to 2007 he did nothing other than appearing in his friend's music video (Michael Jackson) “You Rock My World”. He came back for the boring RH3, and that was when they paid him 20 million for showing up and sleepwalking through the movie. I mean he looked like he was uninterested in being in RH3. From that point on, he just disappeared again. IMDB does list him as being rumored to show up in The Silver Linings Playbook in 2013. IMDB is listing it as a comedy with De Niro and Bradley C...

The Rhythm is going to get you I still randomly sing this even today. About those Scarlett Johansson pictures...( Clearly not safe for work ) While I make it a policy to not have nude pictures on my blog, I do support them on other bloggers' sites. A fellow blogger posted the infamous leaked pictures of the very lovely Johansson. Whoever is dating her is a lucky man.  Can you imagine waking up beside that amazing body every morning? I understand the jabber about “personal privacy” , but in a world where everything gets hacked and I mean everything, you can’t post nude pictures of yourself and think they won’t get leaked. The Star Wars Kid:   Kids’ reaction to it…(and a look back)   Ah, yes the Star Wars Kid . It is one of those early memes that keeps on giving . The meme started in 2002 way before I even started blogging. Yet, I remember the meme being new around 2005 when I started my blog. Luckiest guy at the moment? It is certainly the guy that took the curvy and lovely Christina Hendricks on a date at the Emmy Awards. She is practically bursting out of that dress...in a good way. Michelle Rodriguez returns for Resident Evil 5 (wait, what?) I kind of gave up on the series around the third movie. I liked the first movie and enjoyed the second movie, but I didn't care much for RE3. And, I didn't bother watching RE4, which was very successful. But, I am aware that Rodriguez's character died in the first movie. (Actually, Michelle has made career of having her characters killed off in everything.) Hell, her character in RE died twice. What's next MR returning for Avatar II. And, we are fully aware that her character from Fast and Furious series was discovered to be alive at the end of the last Furious film. So, they're going to have explain that one first before RE5 Filmonic has news of Michelle Rodriguez returning for RE5 . Probably the best casting in the series has to be Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine. But, the rest of the casting seemed a bit off to me. Bristol Palin vs. Jerk? A girl rides a bull...and then the BS happens. From ABC News, (( Bristol, 20, was riding a mechanical bull at the Saddle Ranch bar and restaurant Thursday night when a heckler yelled out, “Did you ride Levi like that?,” referring to  Levi Johnston , the father of Bristol’s young son. The man went on to call her mother, the former Alaska governor, a “whore.” )) Okay, the first part with the Levi joke was funny, but calling Sarah Palin a whore was bit too far. Calling a her a bag of stupid rocks is fine. It is around the 1:58 mark when things turn ugly (uglier). All parties involved in this story are wrong. For one, calling Sarah Palin out like that is a cheap shot, and only strengthens those against your cause. Palin should have walked away and not made a scene. George Lucas I've always felt the uproar for the changing of the Star Wars movies is a little foolhardy, because he's been changing the Star Wars films in the 70s. -I agree that GL had no business directing the prequels. He should have let another group of directors direct his films. -I also think he harmed the Indiana Jones 4 film. -Howard the Duck bomb? Brilliant.

Random Things ~ Matthew Fox won't be charged with fighting with a bus driver . If you remember, Fox was drunk and tried to force his way onto a Party Bus. That was when the rather large bus driver told him he wasn't alllowed. That was when Fox began to punch the lady in her breasts. She returned the favor with a hard punch in the face of the Lost star. Something tells me he thought she was the smoke monster. Heather Bormann, who was the “party” bus driver, is suing Fox for 25K, so he isn't out of the woods yet. Something tells me he'll be giving her the money. ~France bans public prayer : I am not a religious person at all, but banning public prayer seems a bit wrong to me. Dancing with the Stars (?)  I've never fully seen a single episode of the show and probably never see one either. However, it fasteinates me that the network can even call it “dancing with the stars”. And, for this season we got the firecracker topic of transgendered Chaz Bono whether we want to or not. Since the “exciting” premiere happens tonight, I thought I'd run down the “stars” on the show this season. David Arquette :  First, he did that awful Hulk Hogan reality show that failed.  Now, he’s in this show.  Man, his career has fallen on hard times.  Chaz Bono :  I have no problem with a transgender person on the show, but I am not sure I could call him a “star”.  I think the studio/network was looking for some controversial buzz from the fly-over states and they thought Bono would be the prefect recipe.  It is the same formula they used with Sarah Palin’s daughter…who wasn’t a star either. The Lion King re-release is a hit ! Like the Star Wars re-releases, this movie was a huge hit over the weekend.   It topped the Box Office with nearly 30 million dollars.   That is an amazing feat with a 1994 movie.   I think part of the reason for the huge success has to do with the 3D aspect.   I think people really wanted to see the movie in 3D because it truly feels like a 3D movie.      I really need to check it out before it leaves theaters.   Is the “morning report” song included in the release version, like when it was added into the DVD version of the film?   The morning report song came from the Lion King Stage show.   And, yea, I’ve seen the stage show.  

Justin Bieber on CSI and for this he deserves a reward This gives new meaning to overkill.   I loved every second.   I guess everyone hates Justin Bieber

Premium Rush Trailer Okay, this feels and looks like a Tony Scott film from this era of his filmmaking.   However, it is directed by David Koepp .  Okay, somehow this trailer make riding a bicycle look cool.  I ride a bicycle and I’ve never looked this cool.  And, I’ve done a lot of city riding lately, and I never looked this cool.  Dania Ramirez looks very good.  Then again, I’ve always had a huge crush on this girl since Fat Albert.  Michael Shannon, aka the crocked cop, looks to be playing almost the same character he plays on Boardwalk Empire.  Anyway, it looks pretty good, and I’ve always enjoyed a chase movie.  There is some controversy behind the movie though.  A novelist by the name of Joe Quirk is claiming that his book “Ultimate Rush” was ripped off in the film Premium Rush .  In his book, it is a rollerblade messenger.  He might have a case. 

Is this what failure looks like?   (balloons failed) All that work for nothing…and that damn evil tree.    Where is the balloon boy when you need him?
