While watching Adventureland, they played this song in one of the scenes. I cracked a smile because I used to love this. It used to play on the radio all the time.
Listening to it today, I realized Lady Gaga owes a lot to these 80's artists from the dancing era.

I also realized that this song paved the way for the trance/dance music from the 90s.

You should look for a mashup from an artist called Shannon Stone. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
I just listened to the mash up. I'm surprised that it works but it does. There have been some very interesting mash ups that work of late.
I think the best mashups seem almost seamless when they are put together... like after you hear them, that those elements belong together.

I kind of like that one, I have a few more I need to post, just haven't got around to posting them.
Anything with Eve in it is always a bonus.
