While watching Adventureland, they played this song in one of the scenes. I cracked a smile because I used to love this. It used to play on the radio all the time.

Listening to it today, I realized Lady Gaga owes a lot to these 80's artists from the dancing era.

I also realized that this song paved the way for the trance/dance music from the 90s.

I just listened to the mash up. I'm surprised that it works but it does. There have been some very interesting mash ups that work of late.

I think the best mashups seem almost seamless when they are put together... like after you hear them, that those elements belong together.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. The Internet can be a dangerous place, and things that you did with that camera can come back to ruin your life. A very attractive University of Louisville cheerleader by the name of Becca Manns took some pictures of herself naked and also having sex with a dude. Either her memory stick or camera was stolen, and the theft uploaded the graphic photos onto the World Wide Web. That was when the shit hit the fan (Louisville Fan). She ended up having to leave the program and probably school. (I am currently enrolled in UofL as well, but you won't find any photos of me.) I sort of feel sorry for her because she did one crazy thing, and now it has ruined her life.
