While listening to Adam Carolla's podcast with Australian comedian Jim Jeffries, Jeffries mentioned that in Australia they have women called Meter Maids. Unlike American Meter Maids, a term not used anymore, the Australians have a different term.

They have women in bikinis they stroll around feeding coins to the expired meters. They would leave a promotion on the car. (Check out the history) Think of them as Hooter Girls with extra change.

Okay, this really makes me want to go to Australia, because you could never get away with that here.

1. Many cities forbid people from dropping coins into spent meters, even though everyone does it once and a while.

2. All the bible thumpers would have a collective heart attack. There are too many thumpers that want to enforce their beliefs onto the whole country. Boobs in a bikini haven’t hurt a single person.

I’d take these meter maids over the ones here in the States. Hmm, barely dress women over an angry parking attendant?

Right on. The Surfers Paradise Meter Maids are an institution and an icon. Many tourists have their pictures taken with them. They are gracious and lovely and the gold bikinis are woderful. They should never change that. The uniform is classy and sexy at the same time.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. a U of L cheerleader gets into a little bit of trouble...

The Internet can be a dangerous place, and things that you did with that camera can come back to ruin your life. A very attractive University of Louisville cheerleader by the name of Becca Manns took some pictures of herself naked and also having sex with a dude. Either her memory stick or camera was stolen, and the theft uploaded the graphic photos onto the World Wide Web. That was when the shit hit the fan (Louisville Fan). She ended up having to leave the program and probably school. (I am currently enrolled in UofL as well, but you won't find any photos of me.) I sort of feel sorry for her because she did one crazy thing, and now it has ruined her life.
