Box Office Jam

Well, here’s the Hollywood Box Office round up.

  1. Happy Feet: With around 99 million grossed, not even FOX news can stop this movie from making money, and trust me they’ve tried. It’s a good movie and you should check it out.
  2. Casino Royale: Mr. Bond will not go away without a fight, and his movie is pulling 94 million.
  3. Deja Vu: I got the feeling that I’ve seen this movie in the line up before. Hmm…
  4. Deck the Halls: I hated this movie when it was called Jingle All The Way. Sorry, moving on.
  5. Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan: I like the character of Borat, but I’m not sure I can take an entire movie about him. This probably won’t be the last time we see Borat, because he’s coming in at 109 million.

Shannon Fill:   Where is she now? SF has been reviewing TNG seasons o ver at his blog. And, the episode Lower Decks came up. I recently watched Lower Decks on Net-flicks and found myself amazed with the performance from the young and lovely Shannon Fill , who played the character Ensign Sito Jaxa. Jaxa showed up in two episodes of TNG, actually they were two important episodes.   There was a nice arc to her character too.   Her character was killed off in Lower Decks , but there were plans to bring her back for an episode of DS9. From Memory Alpha , ((One story considered by the writing staff concerned the return of  Sito Jaxa  from  TNG : " Lower Decks ". The pitch had Sito being imprisoned under inhumane conditions and suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.  Robert Hewitt Wolfe  developed the story for some time. a U of L cheerleader gets into a little bit of trouble...

The Internet can be a dangerous place, and things that you did with that camera can come back to ruin your life. A very attractive University of Louisville cheerleader by the name of Becca Manns took some pictures of herself naked and also having sex with a dude. Either her memory stick or camera was stolen, and the theft uploaded the graphic photos onto the World Wide Web. That was when the shit hit the fan (Louisville Fan). She ended up having to leave the program and probably school. (I am currently enrolled in UofL as well, but you won't find any photos of me.) I sort of feel sorry for her because she did one crazy thing, and now it has ruined her life. However, I have to say this to her: You were given a chance to do something many people would never get a chance to do, go to an University.
