Comcast Fail...again...again At this point, the company is just a joke right?  Hey, if we keep him on hold, he will give up on leaving our services.  Smooth, move, Comcast.  Yes, they put this guy on hold as they're cancellation offices closed. The sad thing is Comcast will be buying Time Warner Cable, which I am a member.  Why is Time Warner getting out of the cable business?  It doesn't make sense when you consider that they could make even more money by staying in the business.   I really hope they get their act together before the buyout. The customer service is horrible and even more so over this past year . Comcast is like the Xbox One of cable services it seems. EA, you might have some competitions in the Worst Company of the Year Award.  

Robin Williams RIP I just heard the news about his death.  I was shocked, but knew that he was dealing with depression and drug rehab.  Dealing with depression is hard, but he also had that drug problem too, which probably increased his issues.  This has hit me hard because I had to deal with depression severely over the last few years. Shatner is being an ass again  Twitter is pissing off Shatner. Of course, it is because of fame or being popular. Some guy named John Colucci was verified on Twitter and Shatner threw a hissy fit (also this guy mentioned Shatner on Twitter, which got his attention) The man is acting like teenage girl even at his age. Shatner, it doesn't matter how famous you get on Twitter, because it's twitter. It's a place where you "Shat" out 150 characters.   I've read about the way he treated his cast mates on the show, but now we get to see his asshole-ness in true real time. There is something troubling knowing that Captain Kirk is all in a huff about Twitter and Facebook. This is the same guy that fought a Gorn and a bunch of Klingons. If you read Kirk's tweets, he comes across even worst and petty. Maybe this is the Mirror Universe Shatner? Come on, Bill, you're 83 years old. Having a good standing on Twitter shouldn't...

Bike Tour http://www.tourdeporkride.com Well, I went on my first bicycle tour yesterday in the morning.  I had to cross over to the Indiana side of the river to get to meeting place.  It was for a charity, so we had to pay to get in.  Despite the rain, I had a lot of fun.  It happened in Corydon, Indiana, so I got see farmland up close and personal.  We rode around for 25 miles around the county land.  The second half of the tour had massive hills.  They were some of the worst hills to go up and a bit of a challenge.  However, I managed to ride up all of them without dismounting my bike.  That was an intense ride for sure, but I made it through.  I am not sore at all.  - Llama Farm:  Yes, I saw a Llama farm rolling through the country land.  They all turned and looked at us.  You could see them from far away due to the white coats.  -Goats and Sheep:  They also made appearances.  -Dog chase...

Cybersex tips from the 90s (?) Even if we didn’t want it, we get dongs in video chats today.  The term Cybersex seems very quaint today like the World Wide Web. By the way, you can't teach someone to type with one hand.  It is something they have to learn...like a Jedi. Does she need to be topless to type out her inquiry?  We are now aware that the person on the other end of the chat is clearly some hairy, obese guy with pizza stains on his shirt.  Streaming video ruined it for these guys. Nine times out of ten, you were probably talking to another dude anyway.   Does anyone even use chat rooms for “cybersex” anymore?  Now, this is more like it. 

  Guardians of the Galaxy (Part 2 of 2) Yes, somehow, the powers that be managed to make a movie out of one of the strangest Marvel books out there.  There is a balance between making it mainstream and keeping the quirkiness of the story.  Yet, it also builds upon what has come before inside the Marvel Movie Universe.  Will we see any appearances from these characters in other Marvel movies?  For some, the villain doesn’t stand up to the outstanding group of heroes.  And, Ronan is a bit of a bore in some scenes.  However, I like that he’s sort of a terrorist killing people on the outskirts of the galaxy.  Some of his henchmen/women were also not breakout characters, and it feels like there were scenes deleted from final movie.  However, I did like that this main bad guy is/was working for Thanos.  And, Thanos is the grand villain that is the bigger threat to the MU just like his comic book counterpart.  Ronan does have a fe...

Chris Pratt has some rap skills Yes, someone put the Forget About Dre track behind the Slim Shady rap portion and it works.  We already know that he can dance thanks to the movie’s opening.  

Nicki Minaj and her album cover First off, I love a fine booty on a lady, but I have a huge problem with fake booties, and Nicki has a fake ass. I hate when black and Latino women feel the need to “plump up” their asses in order to get more attention . It's not needed, but they get it anyways, and start looking very unnatural in the process. I don't have a problem with cover, but I have a problem with her fake booty, and that she parades it around like it's real. I also hate that her music has gotten progressively worst with every year. Rappers always want to come across as “real”. Even though she hates LilKim, she's slowly becoming he r. One example was the very fine and natural pornstar Lacey Duvalle. Then she got booty injections and I stopped finding her attractive. Why would you do this? This link it not safe for work . 

Michael Giacchino and his Dawn of the Planet of the Apes score This will probably get taken down, but damn this is a great score. I think Giacchino is one of the best “new” composers working today. He is clearly influenced by the greats (John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith). One of the coolest things about this score is that Michael is clearly paying homage to Goldsmith's strange Planet of the Apes score from the 60s. The heavy percussion and strange string humming are clear connections to the original score. Then, there's the slightly out of tune piano. What about those snapping sounding percussion instruments? I love it. Here's the best part; he keeps all of Goldsmith's disjointed experimental scoring, but Giacchino writes a structured score with straight themes and vocal tracks. It is blending the two methods together that makes this score stand out. Here's the best part. You can actually hear the main theme for the original Planet of the Apes...
