A wonderful cover of Enrique Iglesias’ “I like It” (minus the auto-tune) My only problem with the cover is that he should have added the “All Night Long” counter melody.   

G.I. Joe Retaliation Trailer You, I actually liked the trailer.  The movie seems to be a more grounded action movie than the sci-fi heavy first movie.  It looks like there will be more ninja action and straight gun fight stuff. It looks like it was a good decision to ditch Stephen Sommers , who I think relies too much on CGI, and bring another director.  And, yes the trailer looks good, but they did bring in director Jon Chu, the same director that made Step Up 2: The Streets   and Step Up 3D and that might be a huge problem.  Plus, he directed the documentary Justin Bieber: Never Say Never .   Did I mention that I love Bruce Willis moment in the trailer?  Damn you, Paramount, I am looking forward to the movie now.  -I loved the shot with the White House being covered with Cobra flags.  That is a nice shot.  -Yes, that female ninja is Jinx from the GJ Joe animated movie.   She always brings bad luck and used a ...

Shed Vac Why did they CGI the dog shaking?  That’s actually in the real ad.  It is just creepy. I personally don’t think the dogs and cats will like the loud sound .  I know my old dog would have attacked it, because she hated vacuum cleaners.  

The Rainbow Connection (one of my favorite songs) Man, I love this song.  I remember watching this opening many times because of the song.  On the surface, the song is very sad.  It has been sung by numerous people over the years.  The certainly brings me back to my childhood, when I didn’t have to worry about bills, first dates or finals.    Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher wrote the song for The Muppet Movie.  Luckily the new movie reprises this song too.  It is a different recording than the one used in the old Muppet Movie.

Does this really happen when you eat Doritos?  Man, I hope so.  (Heading to the vending machine…) My question:  Where are these girls coming from?  Are they being pulled out of another universe, or is the bag of Doritos creating the women out of thin air? 

F’ the Noid Along with that little Taco Bell dog, this advertising character was really annoying to say the least.  For some reason, the Noid enjoyed ruining pizza.  However, he would always meet his match with Domino’s Pizzas.  I never knew if he was a bunny or a mutant with long ears.  He seemed to be a cheaper version of the Hamburglar .  He even got his own video game!  It was called “Yo! Noid” for the NES.  They didn’t even bother making a new game for The Noid.  Capcom merely made some minor changes to an already existing game from Japan.  Think: “Shaq-Fu”. Update: Rick Perry Strong (Stronger) Somehow, Rick Perry’s stupid but funny ad has surpassed 3 million views. (Actually 4,733,197)  Rick Perry has surpassed Rebecca Black’s “Friday” dislike counts.  At least Perry is in the lead in something.  It seems odd that the Perry’s people didn’t disable (like/dislike) button .  I personally find it totally amusing that Rick Perry is hated more than “Friday”.   Rebecca black should congratulate him on his milestone.  And, I've never seen a meme catch on this fast since pepper spray cop.  And, there has already been a crossover between the two memes. I’m sure even Herman Cain is saying, “Damn, that’s a stupid ad…even for me.”
