Did you know that William “The Refrigerator” Perry was a member of G.I. Joe? Honest If you watch the ad, you will notice that The Refrigerator has a strange edit during his appearance. Did he have problems with his lines. I remember some of my classmates bragging about getting the Refrigerator Perry action figure in the mail. From me personally, I thought he was a stupid character. However, The Fridge was huge back in the day, so GI Joe wanted a piece of the action. I do like that they gave his character a football on a metal chain as a weapon. His file card says he was a “Physical Training Instructor”. Uh, really? The guy was nicknamed “The Fridge”. I think he'd be in the kitchen eating Roadblock's gumbo instead. Luckily, they never used his character on the show. Currently, The Fridge isn't doing so well health wise . I guess he can look back at his career and remember he was a member of GI Joe. Sesame Street spoofs Spiderman the Musical When Sesame Street rips into your poorly constructed musical, you know you're trouble. I love how they make fun of the musical with the poor attendance and multiple openings. (17 th opening) To pour salt on the wound, the reviews for the Spider-Man musical haven't been that kind either . Then you have that major D-bag Bono attached to this poorly conceive production.    I'd see a Muppet musical spoofing Spider-Man.  

I think Google just mooned me... Google, once again, has a cool feature on its front page involving the Lunar Eclipse. It seems they are live pictures of the actual eclipse from various places in the world. It does look really cool. The Guardian is saying that Google is updating the view every two minutes . I've noticed the Google Lunar thing as has changed over the day, so that is neat. Doesn't this Lunar event mean something? Are vampires going to attack or werewolves? Will the dead rise? Will the Jersey Shore fans get rapture-ed?  

Pornstar Ginger Lee links herself to the Anthony Weiner case...that didn't take long See, I didn't make a Pornstar/Weiner joke. Anyway, like any scandal involving sex, somehow a pornstar will find her way into the story and try to make money out of it. This time in the form of Ginger Lee. From what I can tell, Weiner didn't even touch Ginger Lee. (Yes, that can be taken the wrong way) So, why did she lawyer-up-ed with Gloria Allred? And, why is she making a statement to the press? Some might ask: who the hell is Ginger Lee And, yeah, I might have seen some of Ginger Lee's work...or not. I don't know if she messed around with Charlie Sheen, but I wouldn't doubt it. 5. Jonah Hex Jonah Hex: This is how not to make a comic book movie.  Even after the hits from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, WB felt the need to completely screw up the movie by making it a strange follow up Wild-Wild West movie.  Somewhere between pre-production to post-production something happened.  A rumor floated around that re-shoots were happening with a different director and that about another hour of the film was cut out of the final cut.  And, that causes the story to be confusing.  Did I mention the DC animated short is ten times better than this?   _________________________________________ 4.   Nick Fury: Agent of Shield Nick Fury: Agent of Shield:  Yes, before the extremely cool Sam Jackson took the part, there was David Hasselhoff.   The movie was made for TV and it shows.  The actually all around is bad.  The fact they thought Hasselhoff would make a great Fury just shows you how bad the movi...

E.T. II: Nocturnal Fears ( Check out the treatment of the story ) While listening to the Hollywood Saloon podcast, t hey talked about the movies “that never happened” , and E.T. II came up as a project that was talked about and planned in the very early stages by Spielberg. The concept behind this darker space sequel to the brighter first movie actually originated from an earlier planned sequel to Close Encounters of the Third Kind . It was called Night Skies. It had some meaner aliens showing up on Earth after the friendly aliens left. Portions of that dropped story found its way into the ET-II treatment. After ET became a huge hit , the studio and Spielberg thought about doing a sequel to ET. The treatment from the link above was the basic outline of that story. The story would have been direct sequel to the first movie, being most of the characters would have returned, but the story structure, style and tone were going to be darker. And, the kicker is ET wouldn't have shown up...

Lesbian, Arab blogger turns out to be a married American living in Scotland…wait, what ? It appears a guy started a blog called “A Gay Girl in Damascus”, very original, and started making up fictional stories about the troubles of being a lesbian in Syria.  Because it was a blog, it was updated on a regular basis with tons of followers.    Tom MacMaster, the guy that wants to be a lesbian I guess, turned the story into a serious drama with his female character getting arrested . What happens when you mix Ashton Kutcher with Katherine Heigl?   You get a very stupid movie that is almost painful to watch whenever Heigl is on screen.   Before Knight and Day , this little film came out without screening it for the critics and for good reason.   It was a bad movie.   Killers is an awful film with some appalling acting and writing.   Kutcher is an assassin for the government that they been assigned to kill some targets in France and Heigl happens to be vacationing in the same location and meets Kutcher for the first time.   They hit it off and get married.   The movie skips ahead three years and Kutcher is living a normal life.   However, that is when everyone in their life seems to be trying to kill them for 20 million bucks.   To put it simply, this movie will not appeal to the romantic comedy fans that love Heigl’s movies, or will it fully appeal to action fans either.   The movie has some implied gruesome deaths...
